Notes

A Dream is a setting of Edgar Allan Poe's eponymous poem. Poe's poetry is written as a conventional sonnet and expresses a profound yearning for a love long lost.

Dehlinger's setting is emotive and melancholic. Dehlinger wrote the original version for a bass/baritone. A version for high voice (soprano or tenor) is also available from the publisher.
